Chocolate Chip Biscuits


Ingredients

100g butter or margarine
50g caster sugar
1 egg, beaten
150g self-raising flour, sifted
175g plain chocolate, chopped

Method

1) Cream the butter and the sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the egg and beat well. Fold in the flour and chocolate.

2) Place teaspoons of the mixture, a little apart, on greased baking trays. Bake 15-20 minutes then transfer to wire rack to cool.
