Chocolate Chip Biscuits


Ingredients

100g butter or margarine
50g caster sugar
1 egg, beaten
150g self-raising flour, sifted
175g plain chocolate, chopped

Method

1) Cream the butter and the sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the egg and beat well. Fold in the flour and chocolate.

2) Place teaspoons of the mixture, a little apart, on greased baking trays. Bake 15-20 minutes then transfer to wire rack to cool.

Resepi

For those who loves cooking,here I would like to share my family recipe which is Rendang Tok.It is very well known in Perak my mother's hometown.

Bahan2

600g daging
3 sdb makan ketumbar
3 sdb jintan manis
3 sdb jintan putih
2 sdb lada hitam
3 kuntum bunga lawang
11 kuntum bunga cengkih
10 buji cili kering, dikisar
10 buji bawang merah, dikisar
3 cm halia
2 batang serai, diketuk
3 cm lengkuas
250g gula
1 biji kelapa, diambil santan
250g kerisik
1/2 biji isi kelapa, dipotong nipis dan digoreng
Daun kunyit
Minyak

Cara-cara
1)Daging dibasuh dan dipotong kiub.
Ketumbar, jintan, lada hitam, bunga cengkih, bunga lawang, halia dan lengkuas dikisar dan digoreng tidak terlalu garing.

2) Campurkan bahan kisar, santan, daging dan serai kedalam kuali dan jerang diatas api sederhana.

3) Masak sehingga daging empuk, masukkan kelap potong, kerisik, daun kunyit dan rasa gram dan gula.

4) Masak sebentar angkat dan dihidang dengan dengan ketupat dan lemang.
